He sits on the Board of Directors of eXp World Holdings, Inc(NASDAQ:EXPI), is an investor, the co-founder of LY2NK, and sits on various other paid international boards of directors and advisory boards of public and private companies. Passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, today, Darren is also working as a PhilanthroInvestor. His Private Family Foundation called Leaders Yielding to New Knowledge (LY2NK) is helping support the creation and site of a new sustainable school in the slums of Kampala, Uganda, East Africa. Darren has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, and as an international celebrity in the movie “The Treasure Map”.

Darren’s early childhood years, inspired him to mentor entrepreneurs and business owners in 48 countries. At the formative age of one, his four-year-old sister died from complications due to open-heart surgery. This greatly impacted his family. From an early age, Darren had difficulty reading and writing and was diagnosed with ADHD. Following High School, he tried multiple suicide attempts. And then he was a passenger in a car that went out of control on an icy hill and rolled over a forty-foot embankment which caused him to be ejected through the windshield of the car. That day, Darren nearly lost his life. It then took him months to learn how to walk again. Following those challenges and setbacks, Darren decided to see a psychologist that encouraged him to register for a Dale Carnegie Training Course.
