He is the CEO and President of RBN Energy, a company whose mission is to make sense out of the complex and sometimes quite opaque energy markets to create a deep understanding for their clients – and to do it in style. They offer a broad range of consulting services and information products concerning natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, and renewable energy sources.

David joined RBN Energy in 2013 as Director of Finance and Fundamental Analysis. Prior to RBN, he was with Direct Energy and specialized in data analysis. David began his career with BENTEK Energy before moving to Apache Corporation where he spent five years.

David received his BBA in Finance from Baylor University. He earned his MBA from the University of Houston with certificates in Energy Investment Analysis, Economics of Energy Value Chain, Energy Accounting and Finance, and Energy Risk Management.
